CFKB00036 CyberForms: Compress & Reindex does not reind
CyberForms: Compress & Reindex does not reindex worksheets correctly
SYMPTOM
CyberForms user attempts to Compress & Reindex records in either the PO/SO browser or the Worksheet & Quote Browser, but the process appears to do nothing once completed.
The symptoms can be presented as either out of order records, missing records, or incomplete record information.
NOTE
If user has more than 75 records in the current activity, the issue may be resolved by properly adjusting the "Sale to Close in Field" on each worksheet and then archiving.
If the user has more than 150 records, please contact CyberForms Technical Support for further information.
CAUSE
1. User may have too many records in (75+) in current activity.
2. Some of the worksheets may be incomplete; they may be missing Machinery Description information, Contact information, or one of the Compulsory Fields may not be filled out.
RESOLUTION
1. First, we need to make sure that each record is completely and correctly filled out.
a. Browse to first record in browser.
b. Click on "Update Worksheet"
c. If your receive a message containing the text"You Must fill in the compulsory field indicating…" please fill out the information requested.
d. If you do not receive this message, browse to next record and repeat steps b & c for each record.
2. After Completing the steps to update each worksheet and make sure that they are filled out completely, try to compress & reindex again.
3. If the compress and reindex is still unsuccessful, complete a Rebuild and Merge:
a. Click on Start à Programs à CybeForms à Rebuild and Merge Activity Folders
b. There will be two steps. Click OK through each step.
c. After completing, you will be asked if you would like to launch CyberForms - choose yes to launch CyberForms.
d. Complete a compress and reindex.
4. If the compress and reindex is remains unsuccessful, please contact CyberForms Technical Support at 866-892-5060.
